‘Bad Monkey’: Vince Vaughn to star in new Apple TV + drama series

Actor Vince Vaughn will star in the new Apple TV + drama series titled “Bad Monkey”. The novelty was announced by the streaming platform itself.

In addition to playing the lead role, Vaughn takes on the role of executive producer on the project, which will star Bill Lawrence – one of the creators of the beloved “Ted Lasso” – in charge of the screenplay. Season 1 will consist of 10 episodes.

The production is based on the novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen, released in 2013. Check out the official synopsis:

“Bad Monkey tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), a former detective demoted to restaurant inspector in South Florida. The series will be written and produced by Lawrence through his production company, Doozer Productions, with Matt Tarses and Jeff Ingold. Liza Katzer will act as executive co-producer.
