‘Avengers: Infinity War’ image finally explains how Thanos knew the snap would work

After “ Avengers: Infinity War, ” many fans still wonder how Thanos (Josh Brolin) was so sure that his snap with the Infinity Gauntlet would wipe out half the population of the Marvel Universe.

With that in mind, a Reddit user shared a photo explaining the role of each of the Infinity Stones in executing the villain’s plan.

The picture explains that:

The jewel of the spirit follows every life in the universe
The Reality Gem erases physical bodies
The jewel of the soul cancels life
The gem of power does all the hard work
Space Jewel reaches the entire universe
The jewel of time cancels all life at once
