Netflix has confirmed another cast member of ‘Avatar: The Legend of Aang’ live-action series, young actor Jayden Zhang, who played the younger version of the protagonist of ‘Shang -Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings’.
According to Avatar News, Zhang will play one of Aang’s childhood friends at the Southern Air Temple in the series’ flashback scenes.
The actor joins a large cast already featured in the Netflix series, which includes names such as iconic actor George Takei.
Jayden Zhang has been cast as an airbender in the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender! He will portray the character in flashbacks.

Also according to Avatar News, Netflix has cast Ryan Mah (“Lost in Space”) as Dang, a Fire Nation lieutenant, in “Avatar: The Legend of Aang.”
This is the first original character from the live-action series, whose principal photography has already been done, and the character image below is for illustrative purposes only. So far, the context of this figure in the plot has not been revealed.

Recall that ‘Avatar: The Legend of Aang’ will have eight episodes in the first season, with 1 hour each. The main cast includes Gordon Cormier (Lost in Space) as Aang, Kiawentiio Tarbell (Anne with an E) as Katara, Ian Ousley (Physique) as Sokka, Dallas Liu (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) as Zuko , and Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) as Ozai.
