In an interview with the Marianne Williamson podcast, filmmaker James Cameron revealed how the script creation process for the “ Avatar ” sequences went, stating that he had come to threaten to fire the writers for the sequels.

“When I started writing the sequences, I knew there would be three, but they eventually became four. So I got a bunch of writers together and said, ‘I don’t want to hear new ideas from anyone until we’ve spent some time trying to figure out what worked in the first movie. . They wanted to talk about the new stories. I said, “We are not doing it yet.” Eventually I had to threaten to fire everyone because they were doing what writers do, which is trying to create new stories.

He continues, “We created and rejected a lot of storylines for the second and third films because they didn’t get us to that magical feeling of dreaming with our eyes open.”

Actors Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder and Matt Gerald will reprise their roles from the original film. Sigourney Weaver will return as a new character.

In addition to the veterans, the footage will also feature newcomers Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel and CJ Jones.
