Aubrey Plaza Reveals He Auditioned For ‘Scream 4’: ‘I Was Really Bad’

In an interview with Hits Radio, actress Aubrey Plaza (“Child’s Play”) revealed that she auditioned to star in “Scream 4,” but her “methodical” attitude toward the role of an assassin didn’t work. impressed the producers.

“I showed up to the audition looking horrible, I was disheveled and my hair was messy. I thought an assassin was supposed to be like that, but everyone else [atrizes] They were beautiful and glamorous. So, [os produtores] they said, “The whole point of the role is that you don’t look like a killer, and you look exactly like one.” I did very poorly on this test.

Apparently, the actress was auditioning to play Jill Roberts – a role that was later played by Emma Roberts.

It’s worth remembering that ‘Scream 6’ is in development and will take Ghostface to New York, following the past of other iconic villains. For those who don’t remember, Jason Voorhees also left Crystal Lake to visit the famous town in ‘Friday the 13th – Part 8: Jason Attacks New York’ (1989).

The new film will feature the return of Melissa Barrera (Sam), Jenna Ortega (Tara), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy), Mason Gooding (Chad), Courteney Cox (Gale) and Hayden Panettiere (Kirby).

Rounding out the cast are newcomers Samara Weaving (“The Nanny”), Tony Revolori (“Spider-Man: No Homecoming”), Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny.

“Sam, Tara, Chad and Mindy, the four survivors of the massacre perpetrated by Ghostface, decide to leave Woodsboro in search of a fresh start in another town. But it doesn’t take long for them to become the target of a new masked serial killer.”

Previous directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will also return for the next adventure, which is set to hit theaters on March 31, 2023.
