In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Teyonah Parris, who played Monica Rambeau in the series ‘WandaVision’, spoke about the highly anticipated ‘The Marvels’, and was not disgusted with the work of director Nia DaCosta.
“She has a very particular point of view – a young, innovative and very confident outlook. It’s the kind of staging that brings out some great visuals and I’m really excited to see how she’ll fit it all into an already established universe. She listened to our comments on our characters and what the story is trying to build. Most of the time, she already knows what we mean. I love the way she handles things and make us extremely comfortable talking to her about the narrative and the arc of our characters.
She adds: “I like the sensitivity she brings to the scenes. She is very intelligent. I was delighted to work with her and she makes history. Nia DaCosta is amazing and I can’t wait for the world to see her.
Nia DaCosta, from ‘The Legend of Candyman’, is responsible for the production.
The cast will feature Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Iman Vellani (Ms. Marvel / Kamala Khan) and Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau).
The theater debut takes place on November 11, 2022.
Filming is taking place in London and Los Angeles, with no end date announced yet.
