‘Army of the Dead’: Dave Bautista turned down his role in ‘The Suicide Squad’ to star in Zack Snyder’s zombie flick

However, Bautista turned down the offer to star in ‘Army of The Dead’, the new zombie movie directed by Zack Snyder.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the star said that:

“At first, I was reluctant to participate in ‘Army of the Dead’. I said I wasn’t interested. The truth is, I was scared, and I was also looking for dramatic roles. But when I read the script, I realized that it was much deeper and there were more layers than I thought.
