A connected universe seems strange, but all of my films are anchored in some sort of reality. In some ways, they can exist in the same universe. ‘Tempo’ hits national theaters tomorrow, July 29.

The feature film is based on the comic strip Sandcastle, by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters.

The plot follows a family on vacation discovering a secluded beach where they decide to relax for a few hours. However, they soon realize that the place is aging them quickly, reducing their entire life to a single day.
