Ever since actress Linda Cardellini (“Scooby-Doo!”) Made her first appearance as Laura Barton in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” fans have been wondering where Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) got her. has met.
One of the most discussed theories is that Laura is a retired SHIELD agent, which would explain her easy acceptance of Barton’s involvement with spies and superheroes.
And the suspicion was finally confirmed in the last episode of the series ‘Gavião Arqueiro’.
From Episode 4, one of the subplots in the series involved the mysterious Rolex watch that Clint was attempting to retrieve after the accessory was put up for auction on the black market for materials obtained from the Avengers.
Because of this, fans were curious why the watch was so important, as Clint feared Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) would find out who it belonged to.
In episode five, Clint was finally able to disassociate Kate Bishop’s (Hailee Steinfeld) name from Ronin after stealing the assassin’s costume.
Enjoy watching:
Clint does this by revealing to Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) that he’s the one hiding under the killer hood.
Anyone who has watched the series knows that Maya hunted Ronin because the ninja killed her father, which sparked the series’ main plot.
After revealing himself, Clint tells Maya that if her family were threatened, there would be consequences… Then the audience began to connect the dots against the clock.
In the last episode, when Clint finally manages to get rid of his enemies, he returns home in time to spend Christmas with his family, which was his original plan before embarking on this adventure to clear Kate’s name.
After meeting Laura, he hands her the Rolex and tells her that she is safe now. When the camera focuses on the watch, we see the SHIELD emblem sporting # 19 on its cover.
For those who don’t know, Agent 19 is also known as Harpy in Marvel Comics, and she has even appeared in the “Agents of SHIELD” series, played by Adrianne Palicki (“GI Joe: Retaliation “).
What we can tell is that Palicki’s character ended up taking the job when Laura decided to retire to devote herself to family.
So, what did you think of this little reference?

Disney + and Marvel Studios invite you to an unexpected end-of-year getaway with ‘Gavião Arqueiro’, a new series set after the New York City crash. Former avenger Clint Barton (Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: to return to his family for Christmas. Possible? Perhaps with the help of Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a 22-year-old archer who dreams of becoming a superhero. The two are forced to work together as a presence from Barton’s past threatens to destroy more than the festive atmosphere.
In addition to Steinfeld and Renner, Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova, a younger version of Black Widow. Vera Farmiga (“Summon of Evil”) will assume the role of Eleanor Bishop.
Fra Fee will play a character named Kazi, possibly a reference to Kazimierz Kazimierczak, better known as the Mercenary Evil Clown. Tony Dalton and Alaqua Cox complete the cast.
