After Marvel Studios confirmed the February 2023 premiere of “ Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, ” fans are curious when recordings will begin.
In an interview with Deadline, Michael Douglas, the interpreter of Hank Pym, confirmed that the cameras will start rolling on July 3.
He added that the film would be shot in London, which director Peyton Reed had previously confirmed via Twitter.
Commenting on his career with the MCU, Douglas said:
“I had never been in a movie with so much visual effects before ‘Ant-Man’ and I thought it couldn’t be overcome, but then came the sequel. And the environment is also great fun with Paul [Rudd], Evangeline [Lilly] and the entire cast. Now we are getting ready to go to London. Filming for the 3rd will begin on July 3. “
Recalling that the sequence opens on February 17, 2023.
The cast also includes the return of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang / Ant-Man, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Vn Dyune / Vespa.
New to this are Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang’s new performer and Jonathan Majors as villainous Kang the Conqueror.
Kang carries a bow of extreme importance to the Marvel pantheon and could be the next big threat in theaters after Thanos.
The sequel brings Peyton Reed’s return as a director, based on a screenplay written by Jeff Loveness (“Rick and Morty”).
