“American Eid”: a short film now available on Disney +; Check out the trailer!

The short film ‘American Eid’, one of six original shorts from ‘Launchpad: A Collection of Shorts’, is now available on the Disney + streaming service.

The compilation brings together six productions with unique perspectives and produced by the following directors: Aqsa Aliaf, Hao Zheng, Ann Marie Pcae, Stefanie Abel Horowitz, Jessica Mendez Siqueiros and Moxie Peng.

The filmmakers went through an extensive selection process from no less than 1,100 applicants and, thanks to Casa Mouse’s massive platform, they had the chance to show their talent to the world.

As Disney + describes it, “The goal of the short Launchpad series is to diversify the types of stories that are told and provide access to those that haven’t historically been told. Inspired by the journey of life, these first six short films for Disney + are based on the theme “discover”.
