Alexandra Daddario Key to New Teaser for ‘The Mayfair Witches’ Series; Check!

AMC has released the new teaser for the adaptation of ‘Mayfair Witches’, a series based on Anne Rice’s eponymous saga.

The production will officially premiere on January 5, 2023.

Alexandra Daddario stars as Rowan Mayfair, a brilliant doctor who struggles with her destiny as the heir to a family of powerful witches.

The plot centers on a young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she tries to figure out her powers, she must face a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.

The cast also includes Harry Hamlin, Annabeth Gish, Tongayi Chirisa, Beth Grant, Erica Gimpel, Jen Richards and Maura Grace Athari.

This Spaulding (“Masters of Sex”) and Michelle Ashford (“The Pacific”) are writing the screenplay, in addition to serving as executive producers.
