Although it was a huge success, the release of ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ worried the creator of the title. In a statement on the film’s worldwide release, Akira Toriyama revealed that he was worried the story was too simple.

According to Toriyama, after years of “Dragon Ball” going to other planets and dealing with gods, maybe the movie didn’t work out because it was set on Earth and didn’t have Goku and Vegeta. as main characters.

“Given how they entered the universe and other large-scale scenes, I thought I would go back to my roots and have the story take place on Earth in a small area. Not only that, but the villains are part of the Red Ribbon Force, which didn’t have much of an impact when I originally created the series.

Which continued, “Besides, Goku and Vegeta aren’t even the main characters. I thought I managed to make the story interesting, but I was constantly worried that I made it a little too understated.
