Hawkman performer Aldis Hodge confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Viola Davis’ cameo as Amanda Waller in “Black Adam” happened during the reshoots.

He also celebrated the opportunity to work alongside Waller: “There were discussions (at the start of filming). Originally there was an idea for Viola (Davis) to come, but then I think there was a scheduling conflict.

He continued, “Throughout principal photography, she wasn’t there at all. We had completely different scenes. But when it came time for reshoots, I saw his name in the script, and from that point on, I had to keep that secret, and it was amazing.

“The moment I mentioned Waller was when I knew she was really on board. I was so excited. I worked with Viola when I was 12 or 14 on a show called City of Angels, and even though we weren’t face to face, it was an honor to have him on something of this magnitude.”

Recalling that ‘Black Adam’ is still showing in national cinemas.
