“A Star Is Born”: Acclaimed Remake Starring Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper Debuts On HBO Max!

The acclaimed “A Star Is Born” remake, starring Oscar-winning Lady Gaga and Oscar-nominated Bradley Cooper, debuted on HBO Max.

The film was released on the streaming platform on November 24.

‘A Star is Born’ cleaned up the awards season, mostly in the music categories. The theme song “Shallow” won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, two Grammys, a BAFTA and a Critics’ Choice for Best Original Song, ultimately becoming the most awarded song of all time. The soundtrack also broke sales, streaming and awards records – and also became the most decorated in history.

Gaga was nominated for Best Actress, while Cooper received the same honor for Best Actor. The film was nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Sound Mixing, Best Film, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Jackson Maine is a singer at the height of fame. One day, after leaving a show, he stops at a bar for a drink. There, Jackson meets Ally, an insecure singer who earns a living working in a restaurant. He is delighted with her and her talent. Later, the two end up getting married. As Ally emerges for stardom, Jackson is going through a personal and professional crisis due to alcohol problems. Opposite moments end up undermining the couple’s romantic relationship.
