Season 2 of A League Of Their Own has been the subject of much speculation. However, Prime Video recently posted something that has fueled speculation about a new season.

The tweet reads, “Spring Training is officially underway.” Many enthusiasts are considering it as the beginning of the next season.

People are wondering if this tweet signals the teaser of a new season with the beloved character. Check out the official tweet below.

However, sources claim that the tweet was simply referring to the precise MLB spring training games that happened over the weekend.

However, this does not rule out the possibility of another season. The show was well received by the audience. It would also be fantastic to have more seasons.

Hopeful For ‘A League Of Their Own’ Season 2

D’Arcy Carden, star of A League of Their Own, sent out a hopeful message about the potential season two.

“How can it still be this long [and no Season 2 renewal]? I don’t have any updates, other than the way the fans are still being so active on social media with hashtagging.

It almost feels like it’s a part-time job. It’s amazing. There is no shortage of #RenewALOTO. Every day there are thousands of tweets about it and it’s really just beyond our wildest dreams it’s really so nice people would care enough to ask me that question, let alone tweet it a million times.

It’s really lovely and the cast and I, we just want to get back on that damn baseball field and shoot Season 2.”

What To Expect From ‘A League Of Their Own’ Season 2?

Jacobson was questioned about what might happen if there is a second season. He stated that the team would like to focus on some characters who did not receive as much focus compared to other characters in Season one. And that there are countless tales to share with each of the show’s characters.

He said, “We have rough ideas of what the show looks like as a bigger picture broadly. This is a big ensemble, and I think the show is always going to juggle these two worlds back and forth with Carson and Max at the helm of those two worlds.

I hope we did a really good job of making all of our ensembles feel like full people and characters you’re invested in, but I think moving into a Season 2, we would definitely want to lean into some characters that didn’t get as much attention as others in Season 1.

There’s a lot more story to be told with all of our characters, and just leaning into some of the ensembles that we haven’t so far. And then in terms of my character, I mean, we left on quite a cliffhanger.”
