Born September 5, 1973 in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England, talented actor and director Paddy Considine recently caught everyone’s attention for his masterful performance as King Viserys in House of the Dragon. But for those who did not know it yet, know that this exceptional artist has an enviable CV, with impressive works in the seventh art for a long time.

During his training, in the early 1990s, he studied performing arts at Burton College, four years later he entered another college, this time to study photography at the University of Brighton. Then he worked on a few short films until he got his first leading role in 2000, the film was Last Resort directed by Polish filmmaker Paweł Pawlikowski (Cold War, Ida). As an actor, he worked in powerful drama films such as the wonderful Land of Dreams. He also participated in well-known series such as Peaky Blinders and The Outsider.

Revenge Redemption

An eye for an eye, pain for pain. In just over 80 minutes of screening, Redeeming Revenge takes us on a broad and deep analysis of punishment, punishment, we follow the one-way path of a man who goes after revenge after his soul has deteriorated little after a tragedy. Directed by British filmmaker Shane Meadows, the film boasts a remarkable soundtrack in addition to an explosive performance by the excellent Paddy Considine.

tyrannosaurus

In the plot, we meet Joseph a man surrounded by delusions and who is on the verge of madness completely dominated by the hatred he feels. One day, after having drunk them all in one afternoon, he finds himself at the store of Hannah, a friendly saleswoman who also has her daily problems. Little by little, from one drama to another, a very strong friendship is forged between them which ends up becoming a comfort for these two souls troubled by ghosts who have haunted them for a long time. That’s the big job as the director of the King Viserys performer.

land of dreams

Released 20 years ago, this film directed by Jim Sheridan tells the story of a family who leaves Ireland for the United States in search of a chance to start a new life after trauma. The thrilling film was nominated for three Oscars in 2004.

In the plot, which takes place in the north of England, in Yorkshire, we meet Mona and Tamsin, two young women who gradually grow closer and realize that they have a lot to learn from each other. This is Emily Blunt’s first feature film.

Companion: out of combat

The incredible human ability to start over. Imagine a world where you have a beautiful family, are financially stable and, on top of that, you are a world champion in a sport that you love. Now imagine that after suffering a head injury, you can’t remember anything else and need to relearn everything about your life. Journeyman: Out of Combat takes us around this clipping, of a man who needs to reconnect with the world that was taken from him. Heartbreakingly at many points showing the dark and difficult phases of a new beginning, the feature film has a detailed narrative that will delight even the coldest of hearts. Written, directed and performed by the excellent Paddy Considine, the film is not a second chance but a new beginning.
