Despite its controversial and meaningless plot, “365 Days” became a big hit due to the sensuality of the plot and the characters, similar to “50 Shades of Gray”.
One of the reasons for the success was the presence of Michele Morrone, interpreter of a mobster who kidnaps a young woman to try to make her fall in love with him in 365 days.
Thanks to HalaHi, an app where fans pay to ask an artist a question, Morrone has confirmed that Netflix is investing in two sequels for the project.
And it seems that the sequel is already causing controversy.
For those who don’t know, shooting for the next movie has already started and inappropriate footage has ended up leaking online.
Some of them show Morrone completely naked, in a scene where he appears taking a shower.
It didn’t take long and the footage was shared hundreds of times on social media, which angered the star.
In a post on Instagram’s Stories, Morrone criticized the leak and thanked the support of fans, who have also taken a stand against sharing the footage.
“As an actor, your life becomes public. But as a human being, I would like to keep my privacy to myself. I am a big fan of privacy. It is never okay to invade someone’s privacy, it is very disrespectful. I really want to thank Virtual Support who took action against my private footage leaks while I was on set working professionally. What happened is a great offense. I really appreciate the support of my fans. Thank you. I love you.”
Recalling that “365 days” is based on the novel written by Blanka Lipińska, and follows the kidnapping of Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka), a successful sales manager who becomes the target of mobster Maximo (Morrone), obsessed with the see on a beach years ago.
