According to Deadline, ‘1923’, a new spin-off series from the acclaimed ‘Yellowstone’, has already been renewed for a 2nd season even before its official debut – which will also consist of 8 episodes.

The website also says new spin-offs are also in development, set to take place between 1940 and 1960.

Additionally, James Badge Dale (“Last Day Messenger”) and Timothy Dalton (“Doom Patrol”) have been confirmed in the cast.

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford will star in the new spin-off. Sebastian Roché (“Supernatural”), Robert Patrick (“Peacemaker”) and Jerome Flynn (“Game of Thrones”) complete the cast.

Originally, the production was titled ‘1932’. According to Paramount+, the change was made because the series “will incorporate the end of World War I and the start of Prohibition.”

Enjoy watching:

The new series will explore the tribulations and obstacles faced by the Dutton family, this time focusing on explosive events in American history, including Westward Expansion, Prohibition (aka Prohibition), and the Great Depression ( or the New York stock market crash of 1929).

Taylor Sheridan, creator of previous iterations, returns as showrunner.

‘1923’ is set to be released in December 2022.
