A few days ago, David Harbor said he would be among the protagonists of Gran Turismo, a film inspired by the video game of the same name which will be released in theaters next summer. And from December 1, he will be in the cinema in the role of a tough and dangerous Santa Claus in A silent and violent night. Among David Harbour’s most famous films, there is certainly also Hellboy. The actor has repeatedly stated that he wanted to distance himself from Guillermo del Toro’s masterpiece and, in particular, from his colleague Ron Perlman’s interpretation, wanting to give the character his own style. He also added that in his opinion the protagonist is comparable to Shakespeare’s Hamlet, given its tragedy and complexity.

In 2016, after Suicide Squad, he admitted that he didn’t appreciate the performance of his colleague Jared Leto, who played Joker. However, he would not have said it explicitly: “I may like Jack Nicholson’s Joker and Heat Ledger’s. There is a Joker but I didn’t like it”.
